Anemarrhena is used for fever, inflammation, dehydration, diabetes, cough, painful bowel
movements, painful urination, and infectious diseases such as typhus and tuberculosis. Its
effectiveness has not, however, been confirmed by clinical trials.
Do not take Anemarrhena if you have diarrhea. At customary dosage levels, Anemarrhena poses
no known risks. Do not take Anemarrhena at the same time as medications containing iron.
