Cardamom

 
Cardamom is used for appetite loss, bronchitis, colds, cough, fever, liver and gallbladder problems, sore throat, and tendency to infection. In Asian medicine, Cardamom is used for asthma, stomach problems, hemorrhoids, and bad breath. However, its effectiveness for these ailments has not been proven.


There are no known reasons to avoid Cardamom. Cardamom presents no problems under normal circumstances. However, if you have gallstones, it could trigger a painful attack due to its stimulative effect on the gallbladder. No drug interactions have been reported.
